Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Closely monitor patients' vital signs and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Support and educate families during their child's intensive care stay
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
• Previous PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of pediatric medications, dosing, and equipment
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
