Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions per protocols
- Support and educate families during critical care moments
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate care as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state
- Previous PICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric critical care protocols and best practices
- Patient assessment and continuous monitoring
- Medication administration and dosage calculations
- Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
- Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations
