Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and adjust care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Educate and support families through complex medical situations
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
- Respond quickly and effectively to pediatric emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification required
- PALS certification strongly preferred
- PICU or critical care nursing experience is a plus
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of pediatric assessment and critical care protocols
- Proficiency with IV therapy, medication administration, and ventilators
- Strong electronic health record (EHR) documentation skills
- Excellent communication and family-centered care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Quick decision-making and crisis management abilities
