Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 6-hour shifts, flexible scheduling
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients
- Monitor and assess patient status, including vital signs and respiratory function, and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, ensuring safety and efficacy
- Support and educate families during challenging times, offering reassurance and guidance
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Massachusetts or a compact state required
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced pediatric environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric intensive care nursing expertise
- Proficiency with life support equipment and monitoring devices
- Patient and family education techniques
- Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
- Accurate documentation and use of electronic medical records
