Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and assess resident conditions, promptly documenting any changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to ensure quality care
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work evening per diem shifts as needed

• Knowledge of nursing processes and evidence-based practice
• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and prevention practices
• Resident rights, dignity, and HIPAA compliance
• Care planning, delegation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
