Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain levels
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery
• Educate families on post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience in PACU or critical care preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia recovery protocols
• Proficient in IV therapy and medication administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with electronic health records
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with compassion
