Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery
• Educate families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for children and families

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience in PACU or pediatric nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and monitoring
• Post-anesthesia care protocols
• Pain management techniques
• Effective communication with children and families
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
