Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a sterile field and patient safety
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery
• Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate and support patients and families before and after procedures

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Experience in operating room nursing, preferably pediatrics
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
• Understanding of pediatric anesthesia and recovery
• Excellent assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
