Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room with precision and compassion
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure safety throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and equipment
• Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans
• Support and educate families, helping them feel at ease

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in perioperative or pediatric nursing is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Pediatric assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Calm and composed under pressure
