Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures in the operating room
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety throughout surgery
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of OR experience, preferably in pediatrics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in surgical asepsis and sterile technique
• Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
