Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient surgeries
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Previous OR experience preferred, especially pediatrics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle stressful situations

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
• Familiarity with pediatric patient care
• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
