Registered Nurse - Med/Tele/PCU
Location: Bismarck, ND
Start Date: 07-27-2026
End Date: 10-26-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac patients
- Titrate drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
- Provide PCU-level care for overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio
- Collaborate with charge nurse and techs to ensure quality outcomes
- Float to PCU or MS units as needed for full patient assignments
- Deliver compassionate care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac and medical conditions
Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must have PCU experience and ability to read and interpret strips
- Tele/cardiac nursing experience essential
- Epic experience preferred but not required
- First-time travelers welcome—we'll support you!
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in telemetry and cardiac nursing
- Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac strips
- Experience with titratable drips and PCU-level care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to float across units and adapt quickly
