Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients
- Perform professional dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and disease prevention
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- CPR certification (BLS) required
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and patient education abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-focused with a gentle and caring approach
