Location: Fairfax, Virginia

Shift Type: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM, single-day assignment
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Document patient care and update health histories
- Assist the dentist during procedures when necessary
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Active CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and infection control practices
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of dental software and digital charting
- Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
