Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification is a plus
• Compassionate, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards and best practices
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Team-oriented approach with a focus on patient-centered care
