Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients on the medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred but not required
• Ability to adapt quickly to different patient needs and unit dynamics

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple patients
