Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the medical-surgical unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Document patient care thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Advocate for the unique needs of children and their families

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact license if applicable)
• BLS certification required (AHA or equivalent)
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric or med/surg nursing is a plus, but new graduates with clinical rotations are welcome to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
