Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the medical-surgical unit
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in status
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy with precision and care
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Previous experience in pediatric nursing strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pediatric assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate patient and family education skills
