Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications with precision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
• Document accurately and maintain compliance with protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a per diem role
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
