Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to med/surg patients
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama (or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of med/surg experience preferred, but new grads welcome? -- Actually per job data no experience required, so we'll say 'New graduates encouraged to apply! Experience preferred but not required'
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
