Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-13-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: AP shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (scheduled for 2026-08-13)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents while respecting their dignity and independence
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Monitor residents' health status and promptly report any changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff to create personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a safe, comfortable environment for residents and their families
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
- A passion for working with the elderly or long-term care residents
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy (RN)
- Wound care and infection control practices
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
