Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents while respecting their dignity and independence
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Monitor residents' health status and promptly report any changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff to create personalized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support a safe, comfortable environment for residents and their families

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• A passion for working with the elderly or long-term care residents
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and IV therapy (RN)
• Wound care and infection control practices
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
