Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, communicating changes to the care team
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure the best possible outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Must present a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and nursing interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of EHR documentation and nursing standards
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
