Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible scheduling - various day, evening, night shifts as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification required (or obtained within orientation period)
Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience strongly preferred
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring
Knowledge of ventilator management and critical care protocols
Experience with central lines, arterial lines, and IV pumps
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
