Location: Woodsville, NH
Start Date: 05-21-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days not provided. Orientation required. Shift type: RN - BHS.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate behavioral health nursing care to adult and/or adolescent patients
- Perform thorough assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status, manage crises, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team at Cottage Hospital for coordinated care
- Document patient care accurately and timely, supporting continuity and quality
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
- Experience or demonstrated interest in behavioral health nursing
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
- Willingness to complete facility orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Behavioral health principles and therapeutic communication
- Patient assessment and crisis de-escalation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Accurate clinical documentation and attention to detail
- Professionalism and strong patient advocacy
