Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition with thoughtful, timely clinical judgment
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient-focused plans
• Document patient care and progress clearly in the health record
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico preferred/required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapting to variable shifts
• Professional communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Previous acute care or med-surg experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
• Excellent teamwork and clear communication with multi-disciplinary staff
