Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout procedures
• Work independently in the radiology department, ER, and surgery suite using portable techniques
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 coverage

Qualifications

• Graduation from a minimum 2-year Rad Tech program (or equivalent)
• State of Kansas certification (or pending license with proof of application)
• Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• 1 year of radiologic/CT experience preferred, but new grads considered
• COVID Vaccine or approved exemption

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Completion of a 2-year accredited Rad Tech program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT and general radiography
• Knowledge of portable radiography techniques
• Understanding of patient care and safety
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ability to document and maintain patient records
• Experience with on-call and weekend coverage
