Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain patient oral health
- Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
- Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to prevent cavities
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is up to date
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe environment
- Provide gentle, compassionate care in a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
- Excellent patient education and chairside manner
- Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
