Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week; weekend and on-call schedules determined by facility
Hours per Week: 60
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
- Teach patients and their families about treatment plans and health management
- Document patient care meticulously in the medical record
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless care
- Respond quickly and critically in a fast-paced emergency department
- Advocate for your patients and ensure their safety and comfort
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Recent acute care hospital experience (within past 2 years)
- Active ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Oregon RN license or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Current resume and skills checklist within 1 year
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the nursing process
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
- Proficient in medical record documentation
- Adept at interdisciplinary collaboration
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) skills
- Trauma nursing capabilities with TNCC certification
