Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and hygiene
• Maintain detailed patient records and treatment plans
• Manage patient flow to create a smooth, efficient environment

Qualifications

• Valid dental assistant certification or willingness to obtain
• X-ray certification required
• Prior orthodontic experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• A positive, team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Ability to take impressions and prepare lab orders
• Strong infection control and sterilization practices
• Compassionate approach to patient education
