Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Inglewood, CA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: PRN / Per Diem, flexible hours (no set shift times provided)
Candidate Pay Rate: $40- $45.5 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents regain function
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility training to improve independence
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely to track outcomes
- Communicate effectively with therapy and nursing staff to coordinate patient care and ensure safety
Qualifications
- Active California PTA license required
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility settings preferred
- Strong teamwork and documentation skills
- Ability to follow direction from supervising Physical Therapists and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience delivering therapy services in post-acute or long-term care
- Comfort implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises
- Mobility training techniques and safe patient handling
- Accurate clinical documentation and progress tracking
- Clear interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff
