Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with precision and care
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Label and process samples accurately for laboratory testing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Document patient information and specimen details

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification (e.g., CPT, NCCT, ASCP)
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Strong patient service and communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
• Knowledge of proper specimen handling and processing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using electronic health records and lab systems
