Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures with skill and care
• Greet and prepare patients, ensuring a comfortable experience
• Label and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification (e.g., CPT, NHA, or equivalent)
• Current CPR certification (BLS)
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
• Familiarity with electronic health records and lab information systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
