Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures with skill and care
• Ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, and processing
• Verify patient identification and maintain chain of custody
• Provide exceptional patient service and address concerns
• Assist with inventory management and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in venipuncture and specimen handling
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of venipuncture techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and specimen labeling
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
