Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood specimens
• Verify patient identity and label specimens accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort during procedures
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification (e.g., CPT, NHA, ASCP)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
• Excellent patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
• Understanding of laboratory safety and infection control
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
