Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and specimen collections with care and precision
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of laboratory specimens
• Provide a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification preferred
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
• Valid CPR certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in blood draw techniques
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with electronic health records
