Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide constant observation and monitoring of assigned patients
• Ensure patient safety and prevent falls or injuries
• Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Offer reassurance and companionship to patients
• Maintain a calm and safe environment

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• Previous experience as a patient sitter or in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient safety protocols
• Observation and monitoring techniques
• Compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow instructions and report accurately
• Basic life support skills
