Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and families with a warm, welcoming approach
• Verify insurance information and collect necessary documentation
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and families

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient registration processes
• Strong computer skills, including electronic health records
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Active listening and clear verbal communication
