Location: Loveland, Colorado

Start Date: 09-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full time, 4 ten-hour shifts per week (varied days), plus call one night per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $161 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist proficiently in all cardiac surgeries including CABG with EVH and endoscopic radial harvesting
Perform general CV and thoracic procedures both open and endoscopic
Support coronary artery bypass surgeries on-pump and off-pump
Handle congenital defect repairs like ASD, VSD, and PFO
Execute valvular repairs and replacements with precision
Conduct aneurysm repairs including aorto-thoracic cases
Perform lung resections including VATs and chest wall procedures
Manage esophagus, diaphragm surgeries, and LVAD insertions
Insert arterial lines to support critical patient care

Qualifications

Active Physician Assistant license
Proficiency in listed cardiac and thoracic procedures required at name clear
Experience as OR First Assist in cardiac surgery
Ability to obtain hospital privileges

Education

Physician Assistant degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac surgeries CABG with EVH and radial harvesting
Skilled in open and endoscopic CV/thoracic procedures
Knowledge of congenital defects, valvular work, and aneurysm repairs
Competence in lung resection, pleural procedures, and LVADs
