Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for their appointments and take high-quality dental X-rays
• Sterilize and organize instruments, keeping the clinic pristine and ready
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to boost their confidence
• Update patient charts and maintain accurate records with a smile
• Keep supply inventory stocked so the team is always prepared

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willingness to obtain certification
• Current X-ray (Radiology) certification required
• Previous orthodontic or dental assistance experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy dental practice
• A passion for helping patients achieve their best smiles

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Expertise in sterilization and infection control protocols
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• A team player with great interpersonal abilities
