Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and screen patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for use in medical diagnoses
• Explain radiologic procedures to patients in an age-appropriate and understanding manner
• Assess patient pain levels during imaging and coordinate with physicians for intervention when needed
• Perform all aspects of patient care with a focus on safety and minimizing errors

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• New Hampshire MIRT license (required)
• 2 years of experience preferred, but willing to train the CT portion for the right candidate
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not required

Education

• Bachelor of Science (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in radiography and CT imaging techniques
• Strong patient preparation and care skills
• Ability to produce diagnostic images in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
