Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient exams and procedures in an outpatient clinic setting
• Take patient vitals, update medical histories, and prepare examination rooms
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Perform lab draws, EKGs, and other clinical tasks
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or clinic setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent patient service and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
