Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist physicians with examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs and updating medical histories
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Perform lab tests and collect specimens for processing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
• Comfortable with phlebotomy and specimen handling
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Patient-focused with a compassionate attitude
