Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient status accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Delegate and supervise care provided by nursing assistants and support staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Completion of the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or a documented medical or religious exemption
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Proficient in medication administration and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and charting systems
• Compassionate, patient-first approach with a collaborative team spirit
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic healthcare environment
