Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document promptly
• Assess patient status regularly and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and charting
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns as needed
• Support continuity of care during shift handoffs and admissions/discharges

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in North Carolina (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (current) required
• Prior clinical experience preferred but new graduates with strong skills welcome
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and credentialing checks
• Professional, reliable, and able to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
• Familiarity with infection control standards and safety protocols
