Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-14-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients and residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient health, record vital signs, and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of nursing principles and best practices
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassion, patience, and empathy for patients and families
