Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (shift type TBD)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and monitor patient condition closely
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
Perform thorough assessments and report changes in patient status to the care team
Maintain clear, timely electronic charting and complete required documentation
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure safe, coordinated care
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain upon hire
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
Willingness to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility

Education

LPN diploma or completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and IV/SC basics relevant to LPN scope
Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Familiarity with electronic medical record charting and documentation
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
