Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Develop and maintain client-centered treatment plans and timely documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services when needed
• Support continuity of care during the shift and effectively hand off to colleagues
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and quality-improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) credential
• Comfort working in a correctional or secure facility environment is preferred
• Experience with mental health treatment, crisis intervention, and case management
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to attend a one-week mandatory training (Mon-Fri) and work the posted schedule (Tue-Thu)
• Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards

Education

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent (required for LCSW licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

• Mental health assessment and diagnosis
• Trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques
• Individual and group therapy modalities
• Care coordination and community resource linkage
• Familiarity with correctional healthcare or institutional policies preferred
• Electronic health record documentation best practices
