Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to elderly residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents' mobility and transfer needs safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for all residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure highest quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Empathy and patience when working with elderly populations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail in following care plans
• Time management skills to handle multiple residents' needs
