Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient consultations and procedures
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments and ensure their comfort
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Previous experience in orthodontic dental assisting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic assisting techniques and procedures
• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Patient management and chairside assistance
• Knowledge of dental software and record keeping
