Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient procedures, including preparing and passing instruments.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed for treatment planning.
• Prepare and sterilize dental equipment and treatment rooms.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes.

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant (or willingness to obtain).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with orthodontic instruments and procedures preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and techniques.
• Proficiency in dental software for scheduling and records.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and infection control standards.
